About Us

The Old Smugglers – Ouaisne Bay for a warm welcome no matter what time of the year you find us.

Look no further than The Old Smugglers Inn for some of the finest traditional pub fayre you will find anywhere in the British Isles. Nestling in Ouaisne Bay and close to the beach, the inn is a popular haunt with both visitors and locals who make this a regular port of call throughout the year.

In the summer enjoy sizzling steaks and salads with a good selection of wines and real ales in the adjoining restaurant, while in the winter enjoy relaxing in front of our blazing log fire. A warm welcome awaits you whenever you choose to visit The Old Smugglers Inn, and our experienced chef Tony ensures that there will be something on the menu to cater for all tastes.

“We love to use fresh Jersey produce as much as possible and our specials board often reflects this,” says Alvis who has been head chef at the Smugglers for the past 10 years.

“We pride ourselves on our comprehensive steak menu, but we also cater for those who enjoy traditional dishes like home made sausages and red onion gravy and delicious home made steak and Guinness pies with light puff lids. But if you just want to indulge in fish and chips then we can also fit that bill too.”
